Privacy Policy
Last updated: April 30, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how Phoenix Protocol Union (“Phoenix Protocol Union”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information about you when you visit the website located at phoenixprotocolunion.com(the “Site”). This policy applies only to the Site. Our individual products — including U-Metric and Paw Match — are operated under their own separate privacy policies, which apply when you use those products.
1. Information We Collect
Information you provide
When you submit our contact form, you choose to provide your name, email address, a subject line, and a message. We use that information to respond to you and to keep a record of our correspondence.
Information we collect automatically
When you visit the Site, we and our service providers automatically collect limited information about your visit. This may include your IP address (truncated where possible), approximate geographic location (country/region level), the type of device, operating system and browser you use, the pages you view, the referring URL, and timestamps. We use this information to operate the Site, measure performance, detect abuse, and improve the user experience.
Cookies and similar technologies
We use a small number of cookies and similar technologies for essential functionality (such as remembering your light/dark theme preference and your language preference) and for privacy-friendly, aggregated analytics. We do not use cookies for cross-site advertising or third-party ad targeting.
2. How We Use Information
We use the information we collect to:
- respond to messages submitted through the contact form;
- operate, maintain, and secure the Site;
- measure aggregate Site performance and usage to make the Site better;
- detect, investigate, and prevent fraudulent or abusive activity;
- comply with our legal obligations.
3. Legal Bases (for users in the EU/UK)
Where the EU or UK General Data Protection Regulation applies to our processing, we rely on the following legal bases: (i) your consent, where you have given it; (ii) our legitimate interests in operating, securing, and improving the Site, where those interests are not overridden by your rights and interests; and (iii) compliance with legal obligations that apply to us.
4. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only in these limited ways:
- Service providers. We use trusted third-party providers — including our hosting and edge platform (Vercel), our analytics provider (Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights), and our transactional email provider (Resend) — to operate the Site and to deliver and respond to contact-form submissions. These providers process information on our behalf under written agreements.
- Legal and safety. We may disclose information when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to comply with a legal obligation, to protect our rights or property, to protect the safety of any person, or to investigate fraud or abuse.
- Business transfers. If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to standard confidentiality protections.
5. International Transfers
Our service providers may process information in countries other than the one where you live. Where we transfer personal information out of your region, we rely on appropriate safeguards permitted under applicable law (such as Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent mechanisms).
6. Data Retention
We retain contact-form submissions for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your inquiry and to keep an audit trail of correspondence, and then for a reasonable archival period. Aggregate analytics data is retained for the period set by our analytics provider. We may retain information for longer where required by law.
7. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict our use of your personal information; to object to certain processing; to receive a copy of your information in a portable format; and to withdraw consent at any time. Residents of jurisdictions with comprehensive privacy laws may have additional rights, including the right to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information — though, as noted above, we do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
To exercise any of these rights, email us at contact@phoenixprotocolunion.com. We will respond within the timeframes required by applicable law.
8. Children’s Privacy
The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please email us so we can delete it.
9. Security
We use industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect the information we collect, including encryption in transit. No system is 100% secure; if you have reason to believe your interaction with the Site is no longer secure, please contact us immediately.
10. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date above. Material changes will be highlighted on the Site or otherwise communicated as required by law.
